IPSC: Kerry calls Zarif

Tehran, Dec 16,  – The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that US Secretary of State John Kerry has called his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif.

According to the announcement, during the phone conversation Zarif voiced Iran’s dissatisfaction with the new US treasury department sanctions against 14 additional Iranian companies and 4 individuals, which were implemented on the 12th of December. 

This phone call is the first conversation between the two officials since Iran and G5+1 agreed on an action plan over Iranˈs nuclear program in Geneva on Nov 24.
