Our Perspective:
“Mankind was one single nation.” (The Holy Quran, 2:213)
In the history of human civilization, peace is the “original state” and war is the “imposed state.” Peace is beautiful, kind, and constructive, while war is horrific, cruel, and destructive. Unfortunately, war has shaped a significant part of 20th-century history and marked the beginning of the 21st century. As contemporary international relations have shown—particularly in the Middle East and Central Asia—war does not solve problems; rather, it creates them, perpetuating violence, instability, and insecurity.
War is not the solution to disputes between nations and states. Lasting conflict resolution can only be achieved through justice-based peace. Constructive diplomacy and dialogue, with respect for the rights of all parties, are the only ways to establish global peace, stability, and security. Our goal is to transform international relations through the active participation of nations based on just peace.
“Let there arise from among you a group inviting to all that is good.” (The Holy Quran, 3:104)
As part of the global network of intellectuals, we are capable of playing a significant and constructive role in fostering mutual understanding, dialogue, and mitigating global challenges. We aim—independently of governments—to facilitate realistic mutual comprehension between nations and states through honest, constructive, and transparent dialogue, paving the way for positive and just cooperation among the world’s nations.
